I am sure they would suit other, younger bikers, but this older cyclist just could not deal with the weight of the shorts. However, the shorts did have a nice seat pad. They just were not what I had expected. I sent them back. I do give ST two thumbs up for their return labeling. Return much easier then other traders.

I knocked them down a few stars because the sizes they had listed on the sizing chart made me order a size up. That was a bad idea, but they were so cheap I won't return them. I will live with the big pair of baggys and maybe order a size smaller if they come up on sale again.

They run a little on the large side, the upper portion of the shorts a bit flimsy making them ride down a bit. I'm happy with the purchase. -

I also like the compression on the legs but would be perfect with zips on front pockets to keep more of your stuff secure.

They are comfortable material and dry fast like surf baggies. I like the low profile mesh lined pockets, they dont stick out to snag anything on the trail and one velcro sealed pocket on the leg for important things you dont want to loose. Only thing I personally am not a fan of is they are long coming down to my knee, I wish they were 1"-2" shorter length. I got medium size and am 5'-7" if this helps anyone.
