Polyester ripstop nylon is lightweight and packable as well as windproof and water-resistant for riding, in peak or off season. If the temperature rises, simply zip off the sleeves to convert the jacket into a vest.

    The jacket I got has black sleeves instead of the blue sleeves shown. The side pockets (2) are not trimmed in black, but blue like the body of the jacket. It has an additional third zipped pocket in the rear and two small inside pockets. This is a light weight, thin, jacket of wind/water proof material. It is made well and should hold up to light /medium use.

    I bought the jacket for casual biking and walking. I chose the gold (yellow) color because it was bright and would increase my visibility to drivers. The picture of the jacket [...]showed a jacket that was all one color. I chose the gold color and I recieved a jacket that had a gold body with Black sleeves, which is not what I wanted.
