Canari Hybrid Plus Cycling Shorts (For Women)

I usually wear a size medium in biking shorts. Although these fit, they run a little on the small side. Order up if you tend to be on the larger side of medium.

Like the shorter inseam and mesh will be very helpful in hot, humid NC but ran very small (for small). Returning for next size up.

A few reviewers mentioned see-through mesh--it's not a problem with me. You can't really see through it at all. I'd rather ride in bibs because most shorts have a narrow waistband, but the waistband on these is 1 1/4" thick and doesn't bind/pinch. I've worn these to spinning and outdoors, they're comfortable.

These shorts are just right. They fit just like the size chart predicted. The inseam is shorter than I usually order but they look great on me. I ordered two pairs and kept them.

Liked the shorts but I swear the pad is sewn in at the wrong place- too far back. It doesn't come to the front of where I need it and only began to widen once it was past my sit-bones.

I ordered these on a recommendation from a motorcycling magazine. I'd been having difficulty in the lower lumbar region with numbness and this type of clothing was suggested. According to the size chart for waist measurement, I was to wear an XL. Once I tried them on, however, I realized L would have been fine. The length is good but the shorts gap in the leg hem edge. That won't be a major problem to adjust as I can sew. The padded area is generous. I like the gripper edge at the leg openings very much! I'll be wearing these under my protective riding clothing on the motorcycle, so the gripper edge should keep the shorts at just the right position. The shorts laundered and dried well. I hope they'll be very durable. Time will tell. I would have liked at least one pocket for those times when I ride my bicycle. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

This is only the second pair of biking shorts I've purchased, so I'm not certain what typical padding feels like. These are somewhat more comfortable than the other pair of biking shorts. I wear a size small, and I do get a little sore on my longer (5-6 hour) bike rides. I like the fit. The reviews I'd read before purchasing stated that the waist was too low. I'm short in the pelvic area and found these to be very comfortable.
