Canari La Mongie Retro Cycling Jersey - Merino Wool, Short Sleeve (For Men)

I'm not a big fan of the Canari brand - the items I've tried have been of poor quality, but I wanted to check out the jersey. The price was exceptional, but the quality was typical Canari. Also, it was a bit too small.

I really like merino wool for exercise. It is very comfortable, wicks well and does not stink. Unlike synthetics you can wear merino wool several times before washing and it does not retain odors. If you have not tried wool now is the time. A natural product not made from oil, that is a positive. The sizing runs small. The XL feels more like a large. Made in the USA.

great light weight wool jersey

Wool is the best and this jersey also has high visibility and a nice retro look. Single zippered rear pocket. It's going to France tomorrow where the weather is 55F and 40% rainy. I won't have to wash it as much as my polyester jerseys, which are staying in the drawer for this trip.

Great wool jersey for the good price. Fits to your body and can be used a few times before washing because it does not smell after a hard ride. Made in the USA.

Good value on a jersey that breathes and won't make you stink.

I like this jersey, but I like a similar jersey from Canari, the Classique Paris, better. They are both comfy wool. The Classique seems a little longer to me, which is good for me because I'm tall. Most imporantly, the La Mongie Retro has a stylish stripe on the front which means it has to seams running across the chest. This is an opportunity for chafing. For that reason alone, I won't be getting another one. I will stick with its un-striped cousin, the Classique Paris.

Love the combo of 95% merchino wool & 5% spandex. This adds strength to the weave. Doesn't pull or snag like the IBEX jerseys. This is thin but warm. Also good for touring because it doesn't need to be washed every day, and it also drys quickly.
