“Ok shorts, but I've ridden in better”

“I read the other reviews and was a bit hesitant to buy these shorts, but they were on a good sale and I decided to give them a try. They are pretty short and I am glad ordered a size smaller than I normally wear (people were complaining they were too big). They work pretty well under other shorts, which is nice. The seems around the padding do chafe (it feels prickley) and I was glad to be done after an hour the first time I wore them, but it appears to be getting better the more I wear (and wash) them. Bottom line: decent cycling shorts for [$], but I wouldn't pay more.”
