Canari Micro Pro Cycling Shorts (For Women)

These are shorter in the legs, which will be nice when summer finally arrives in Michigan. The padding is anatomically correct.

Lots of padding and I sure am glad. My spinner's seat was a real pain before these.

Comfortable and fits well except the leg elastic. The tighter elastic makes the thighs look big(ger).

I read the other reviews and was a bit hesitant to buy these shorts, but they were on a good sale and I decided to give them a try. They are pretty short and I am glad ordered a size smaller than I normally wear (people were complaining they were too big). They work pretty well under other shorts, which is nice. The seems around the padding do chafe (it feels prickley) and I was glad to be done after an hour the first time I wore them, but it appears to be getting better the more I wear (and wash) them. Bottom line: decent cycling shorts for [$], but I wouldn't pay more.

The sizing runs a bit large, which doesn't bother me. When I tried them on for the first time, there was a hole in the seam.

These are my first pair of bike shorts and I bike about 10 miles once or twice a week. The size seems true. The padding feels like a foam and you can pinch it together and your fingertips touch so it's not too thick. It does help my newbie (though 40+ year old), bony bottom, but if I were to be biking more often or longer distances, I might want more padding or something with a gel. The shorts are comfortable in warm and cool temps and I wear them under other shorts or pants.

The first time I put these on was for an adventure tri. They were perfect for the 16 mile mtn bike portion. No discomfort. I look forward to many more rides in them.

Don't order by the size guide. I ended up going down by 2 sizes, and even then it's a little big in the waist. However, the padding is really nice for riding, not so much for walking around. Good buy for the price!

The shorts are great. It's been hovering around 100 degress since before the 4 th of July. Riding at least 55 miles each day at AA pace. Shorts are comfy and as cool as can be expected in this weather.

Gel pad is placed in the worse spot possible! Picture feminine protection and you'll have the exact spot that the gel pad covers. Unfortunately, the sides end in the same area the bike seat ends...CHAFE CITY! Do not purchase these if you have any more than a 5 minute commute. Bad!!
