Canari Mountain Trail Gel Baggy Shorts (For Men)

I own at least a dozen pairs of MTB cycling short of various major (and pricey) brands. Of these, I find these lower end Carnaris to be the most comfortable and lightweight. The gel works better than other gel shorts that I own. The outer shorts are so lightweight that they are hardly noticed, even under winter tights. These should also be great for summer riding because they are so light. I liked the first pair of these enough to order two more pairs.

For cycling I don't wear tight lyrca but baggy cycling shorts with gel inserts, however these shorts are over baggy and the outer material is very light and you look like Michelin Man

The gel works well to protect your stuff. Could be a bit softer. The shorts ride down a bit but not bad. Tie string is a bit thin. Worth the [$] i spent. Good for beginners to advanced,but not a race or high performace short. I am buying another as the price is great for non epic riding.

My only complaint was they feel very puffy almost like they are over sized.

Great biking shorts for someone who doesn't want to wear the tight fitting race gear. The padding is comfortable in all the right places without looking bulky when off bike. The length is above the knee without being too short.

Bought them for mountain biking and they work beautifully! Padding just the right amount, pockets plenty deep, and legs stay put! If I'm looking for beefs, the drawstring is the only one I can find. It is more like ribbon then cord and I'm concerned it wont hold up over time. Use the Sierra trading post general fit guide when ordering. I was worried they would be small based on the Canari sizing description but they fit as I would expect the size I ordered to fit.
