With one wash, I am sure this shirt would have been quite tight on me. No I am not a petite woman. I am 5'8" with a long torso. Many shirts are too small or too short for me. I was disappointed, as I liked the pattern and breathable fabric. Bike jersey's tend to run small so I took a chance without success. If you are a smaller than average woman this shirt would be great for you.

I am small-chested, and the medium was still pretty tight-fitting on me. Pretty tight fit through shoulders. If you are large-chested, I'd recommend ordering two sizes up.

As always with this brand, I didn't like the fit and thought the quality was poor. The zipper puckered in a couple spots, the bottom band was disproportionately tight (and I ordered up a size), and the fabric was just weird. Save your money.

Reviewed by Agate from NJ on Thursday, June 21, 2012Based on another comment, I ordered a L rather than my normal Medium. I'm glad I did. The L fits great. I have 2 other Canari bike tops in medium and this L fits like those mediums do. The material is light and breathable.
