I've worn these shorts on several long rides now and I'm really impressed with the quality and comfort of these shorts. The padding does feel slightly bulky when you're walking in them, but they feel great when you're on the bike.

I normally order 36 shorts but after reading about these, ordered the 32-34. Even so, the fabric was not taut around my lower thigh. So they don't give good compression plus I look like "chicken legs" in them. The good news is the padding is just right and very good even though it feels like somebody shoved a magazine down my pants when standing/walking. So, 5 stars for comfort and 3 stars for tailoring.
