These shorts are overall fantastic, comfortable, form fitting enough that they don't interfere with biking but loose enough that they look good/ don't parade your junk. The padding works really well, material on outer pant is very tough, didn't tear or scratch on some pretty gnarly wipeouts. The problems, which could easily have been avoided in designing these shorts, are first that the waist is too tight/ not adjustable, I am 5'11" 170 and pretty lean, the medium fits me perfectly (legs come to bout an inch above my knee, they fit n look great) but I have to pull the waist tight and suck it in to button, you would have to be very freakishly skinny to have the waist fit properly, that said they still work great just could use another half inch around waist. The really dumb mistake is that the under layer pant doesn't detach from the outer pant! The inside pant gets very sweaty and gross and need to be washed often while you would never really need to wash the outer layer, just means I wash the under layer by hand. All of my petty [...]ing aside they are great shorts, I don't regret buying them and use them almost every day, if your on the fence just buy them, especially if you're skinny!

Well set up design with detachable insert. Perhaps a bit too extensive padding. Excellent pocket design

These shorts are just weird. The waist pockets are real small, a large smart phone will probably not fit. The media pocket on the back waist line makes the shorts pooch out and just doesn't look right. The inner spandex short is only attached in two places in the rear so it takes some time to get the legs lined up when your getting them on. The foam pad is so thick it feels like you're wearing a diaper and it comes up high in the back, further contributing to the pooched out rear. I have a 36" waist and ordered the 2xl. The XL would probably fit better, but I just don't like the way they're designed.

Ordered a pair for casual trail riding, liked them so much I ordered another 2 pairs. The stretch fabric feels durable, fits well and ventilates great. The inner liner is comfortable and can be removed and replaced if desired. There are a few minor things that could be improved, like reflective piping, deeper pockets, belt loops, larger media storage compartment, adjustable snaps on the legs and maybe other color choices. These shorts are best used for casual trail and bike path riding. You could even make a food stop at a store or take in a few sites without looking like you're walking around in your skivvies. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and fit.

Shorts are overall a pretty good product. Fabric was nice, compliant but sturdy. Chamois was of good form and quality. Plenty of stash pockets. I do not like snap closers for the waist. I prefer touch fasten or button. My personal biggest dislike was the leg was way to long for my. Well over my knee. I know that's today's style but I find the fabric drags or hangs up on my bent knee during pedaling. Especially when it gets wet or sweaty.

The materials and cut of these shorts is great, they are slightly baggier than some similar shorts but function well, look good. Pocket arrangement is solid and media pocket in back is nice but not very big, I have to wedge my fairly compact android phone in, anything bigger than that will not fit. The foam pad takes some getting used to, its more ridged than I expected but it protects better then jel pads. My only complaint is that the waist is very tight for the length. I am 5'11 170 with a pretty narrow waist and I have to suck it in to button them, there are drawstrings to make waist tighter but I can't really picture anyone being skinny enough to use them. Overall a functional, good looking pair of bike shorts

Previous reviewer hit the nail right on the head as far as sizing goes. The 2XL fits my 37-38" waist but the rest of the short seems a bit too baggy. The cuffs fall below my knees slightly which might interfere with my knee pads when riding. Also, I cinched the drawcords slightly which made a weird bulge in the back where the MP3 pocket is. Looked like I was wearing a diaper. Guess I'll need to wear a long jersey. The liner was comfortable, chamois was excellent. The quality of the construction was top notch. Good venting, excellent pocket placement and nice extras with the MP3 pocket. If the extra baggy fit doesn't bother you, then get these shorts! Especially if there's a good coupon like I had.
