    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I really like these shorts for mountain biking on rough terrain. The padding feels comfortable and isn't thick enough to cause a lot of wear/chafing. I bought these to replace a pair of gel-cushioned shorts that had such thick gel that it gouged into my sit bones at the edges of the pad. This chamois is fine in that regard. My rating is based on the mis-labeling of this item as "Made in USA" when the tag clearly states "Made in China". I don't buy Chinese goods as a rule, but the price I got on these shorts was not a whole lot [...]

    I like that the shorts aren't too tight on the thighs. Padding is very fitted as well, meaning not any bigger/wider than necessary.

    I was pleased with the generous fit. The padding is a little weird to walk in before ever riding, but one you ride in them a little while, they conform more to your seat. The leg grips are loose on me, but again, once you are riding, they do the trick. These are OK for the price, and are sized generously.
