No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I like the wide waist band. I probably should've gotten a smaller size but I don't like tights that are too tight. The waist runs high, but that is good for cold rides. The fabric is strange - it doesn't feel warm against the skin and seems to transmit cold more than other technical fabrics. I would not wear these on a day colder than about 30 degrees unless i wore something underneath. They are not my favorite tights, but for the price they are keepers and i will wear them for the "warmer" cold rides.”
