I normally wear a M in bike shorts but I followed the size guide for these and they fit perfectly (I got the L - I'm 6'00", 33 in waist). I just ordered a 2nd pair b/c the sale price is so good.

Answer For the Canari Vortex Gel shorts, I recommend ordering size L; the waist measurement for them is 36-38 inches.
