Canari Vortex Gel Shorts (For Men)

Just finished an 800 mile circuit on my motorcycle. These shorts really helped reduce that sit-bone pain and the fatigue that comes from lead-butt. The shorts also allowed my private parts to be positioned up and out of the way reducing any danger of numb-nuts. As for sizing: I am a 36 waist trouser guy and found that the L was a good fit and sent back the XL.

The cut is a somewhat odd -- low in the back and high in the front (and no, I don't have them on backwards). The size seems fine -- I've got other pairs of Canari shorts in L and got these in L too.

I've used them 4 times in the last week. I am very happy so far.

Wore inside to check fit/padding--no issues. Then they did well on a 45 mile ride. Prefer over my other shorts.

Very Satisfied

Having had consistent problems with crotch-area tenderness from my road biking I went with the reviews on these shorts that said that people were very satisfied with the padding. In my two rides since getting them, at 22 and 30 miles, I have not found them to be any better than the ones I had in preventing that bruised feeling. While comfortable to wear, I also found the waist to be rather large relative to the shorts size. Not enough to fall or anything but loose. I would recommend them as good shorts for the money as long as the padding isn't your primary purpose in getting them.

These shorts feel fantastic! After putting them on I experience no dimcomfort while riding, even on a long ride. I recommend you grab a pair yourself.

Overall this is a good buy at the price. The elastic at the bottom of the short is quite tight. I have good size thighs, as many bikers do. I seem to be getting used to it.
