I normally wear a M in bike shorts but I followed the size guide for these and they fit perfectly (I got the L - I'm 6'00", 33 in waist). I just ordered a 2nd pair b/c the sale price is so good.

I found them a little thin for longer rides. My recommendation is based on my preferences - I would recommend them if you like a lighter chamois and your rides are generally short.
