loved the first pair so much I bought another pair. The leg bands are tight enough to keep them down but don't cut into my thighs, the gek is great for long rides (75 miles)

Started spinning a few months ago. These shorts make a notable difference in providing a barrier between seat & sits bones. Comfortable fit, not too snug (I dont feel like I'm biking in a rubberband). I'm 5'4" 160lb apple shaped athletic build. I'm young and conscious of my presentation at the gym, and I think these shorts are cute. However, this is my first pair so I have nothing to compare them to. I'm happy with this purchase, 5stars happy.

I am on the eternal quest for a pair of shorts that fit my chunky (well padded) thighs and don't chafe at the top of my leg. Yes, the leg elastic is tight enough to make me conscious of a small bulge of "spare skin" below it, but it holds the padding down and stops it from going into the crease of my crotch and chafing. Both pairs of Pearl Izumi's chafe because of so much padding on the sides, and these are much better. There is plenty of gel under my butt, and it didn't feel warm despite a long sweaty ride. I did size down to a large and that was great. I am 5"8 170lbs with big butt and thighs. I actually came back here to buy a 2nd pair.

I have not been able to wear them on my bike yet, but they fit well when I tried them on. I have another pair of Canari shorts that worked great on the bike so I expect the same from these. Material seems good, not too snug but comfortable. Nice grippers on the legs that feel comfortable.

I haven't gotten to ride with these yet, but my prediction - based on my two other biking shorts - is that this will work just as it should. The padding is a bit more than my other two pair (but they are OLD, so maybe they were this "fluffy" when new), but the fit, the elastic at thigh level and the waist band are spot on

I bought these because they looked "serious" about performance without fancy stripes and gewgaws. The good price and good reputation of the maker confirmed my choice. Other reviewers said that they were too large at the thigh, but that is not my problem. I will be wearing them in Puglia on my first biking tour.
