Closeouts. The backs of your hands are the first to take a beating when you’re riding in inclement weather; protect them with Cannondale’s Windfront gloves, designed with a waterproof, windproof and breathable fabric insert on the back of each hand.
I wanted to like these gloves due to a comfortable feel and attractive design. However, after 2 days in 42 degree weather, I found my hands getting a cold, clammy feeling. I used a $5 polyester glove liner and found it keeping my hand just as warm (or cool), but without the clammy feel.

I wanted a glove for cool weather rides around town. These gloves block wind and keep my hands warm. I have not tried them in extreme weather, so far if it's really cold, I'm not biking. These are great for cool to cold windy rides.

This rating was a tough one. The glove is designed so well, with perfect padding on the hands and reflective logos on the back, that when the larges I ordered came and were found out to be tool large, I exchanged them for a medium. After 2 days of cycling with them in 42 degree weather, I found that my fingers had a moist, coldness about them. This feeling has happened to me with other windproof gloves as well. I've found fleece or a polypro type glove to be better at keeping my hands warm than the denser, windproof material. Maybe lack of breathing is what's causing the problem?
