“I bought the silver and the gold. I have fine, smooth hair, and lots of it. It's hard to find a band that holds my hair back without hurting my head after only an hour of wear. The silver band works perfectly. It stayed in place and didn't hurt for about seven hours of wear. The gold band was a different story, perhaps because it was slightly bent when I received it. I could not keep the gold band in my hair, even though my hair was styled the same as it was with the silver band. The gold band kept sliding to the back of my head forcing me to remove the band and start over multiple times during the day. Both headbands have a black satin ribbon under shiny metal and look great in the hair. My advice is that if you like thin headbands, give this a try, but try it out as soon as you receive it in case you need to return/exchange it.”
