    Husband really liked the look of these boots and had Carhartt work boots before. When he got these he could barely get his foot through the top! Tread is pretty much non-existant. Slippery hard soles wouldn't be much use in the woods. Going back!

    On my feet so the boots I wear must provide both support and comfort. I work in urban enviroment and must hike in gear and equipment. These boots are a torture...too narrow and hurt with every step...also too insulated for Southern California...
