    Myself and my husband have worn Carhartt for years... My advice when buying this coat is to buy it 1 or even 2 sizes bigger..... I wear a size 8 and M in shirts and I ordered this jacket in a large and with only a tshirt under it the sleeves and the fit is fine with the coat being 1 size bigger but if you plan on wearing sweatshirts under it get 2 sizes bigger or even buy the smaller mens sizes since they are a little longer and actually fit good also :-)
