    Although Carhartt is a great work brand, especially for men, they could work on their sizing for the women's Carhartt clothing. I'm an average woman, but I still needed the extra small because they make these jackets so huge! But then the xsmall sleeves are almost too short for me. But it's still a good quality jacket and I would buy another one in the future.

    Just got this jacket straight out of the box, and the zipper got stuck on the way down, and then at the same place on the way up again. I may have to return it just because of the zipper problem. I am a 5'6" woman, I wear size 10 jeans and am pear-shaped, meaning that I have hips. This jacket has alot of space on top but is actually hard to get around my hips to zip up. I had bought a Large.

    This coat is comfortable and very warm, definitely windproof as I've tested myself against icy winds out of the Columbia Gorge. I got the dusky plum color and it's beautiful. My only negative is that I'd prefer a natural fiber lining but that's next to impossible to find. Other than that, wish I had a couple more!
