Carhartt Active Hooded Jacket - Nylon Soft Shell (For Men)

Absoletly loved this fabric and quality made Carhartt product. Only thing is it did not fit in the hips and was sent back :(

probably needs a wash have only worn it a couple of times but is a bit short at the back and the chest is disproportionately wide compared to the sleeve length.... happy enough with it for the price and i'm sure once it softens up a wee bit will be good as gold.

i wear the jacket at work in all conditions has the hood for bad weather

just a perfect jacket to me can wear it into the cold weather just before winter and in the spring before the heat

Hooded soft-shell answers all my problems. Best dog walking coat ever, if I was still swinging a hammer this would be my go-to job coat. I got the medium and it feels bigger than other manufacturers mediums. Probably like an REI large. The two hand-warming pockets are a little shallow and exposed. I wouldn't trust my keys or cellphone in them if I was going to get active.

I've only had this jacket a few days, but so far I really like it. I'm 5'8" 135 lbs, originally ordered a Med but it was huge on me, so I exchanged it for a small. The small fits great in the chest/arms, but the waist is snug. It is not a problem, just felt a little strange initially. It is warmer than another brand of soft-shell I have had, and I like the double elbows. I wore it with a few thin layers underneath in 10 degrees with a 30 mph wind and was very comfortable. Note that the pockets fill with snow very easily. The hood fits comfortable without being obnoxious. The inner and outer chest pockets are enormous, so items can work their way back to your side/under-arm.

This will be a great all purpose coat; I'll wear it to work as well as on the street.
