I missed several opportunities to acquire one of these jackets over the last several years. It was my good fortune that it was available as a 2nd at a substantially reduced price. The blemish is minor and in no way compromises the function or utility of the coat. I especially like the integral hood of this jacket. I find hoods to be a useful component of a coat/jacket in chilly weather. It is disappointing that Carhartt has chosen to move so much of their production away from the U.S., but I must admit that thier standards of quality have not changed from what I remember from over 30 years ago. The only negative comment I will make about this garment is about the zipper. I think Carhartt needs to consider changing to a nylon version or a slightly larger toothed brass zipper. The zipper on this jacket is a little stiff at times but I have not yet lubricated it which should abate the problem.

These jackets out of all the Carhartt jackets are a must have for anyone working outside. f it is really cold, I layer it with other Carhartt coats. They hold up extremely well at daily construction sites and washings. I will purchase these again and again.

I purchased a 2XL Tall for my very large brother and it fit him perfectly, with a 39" sleeve requirement. I purchased a 2XL for me and it was perfect for my stout short armed self. These things last for many years so buy it in the color you really like, as you will be using it for a long time. I have two of the cotton hoodies and they are nice for cool weather.

This is a great jacket for the money. The only problem was with the zipper. It was stiff in a few places. A little Rem gun oil took care of that. This is a great jacket for cutting fire wood.
