    I am 5'7' and usually wear a size 8 or 10 in most outdoor clothing brands. Not knowing how Carhartt fit I started with a 10. I'm rather curvy and have a small waist. On me, the pants were too tight in the hips/thighs and too large in the waist. I wouldn't be able to wear them without going up a size and then having the waist totally redone. Might work better on someone less curvy, but I had to return them.

    I bought these pants to wear to work. I am a journeyman pipefitter,and I need the tool pockets. I wear the size I ordered in regular blue denim womens' Carhartts, but these pants are quite a bit smaller. I will wear them anyway, but they are tighter than I usually like to wear for work.
