    Sizing ran small. I have a size 12 pair of W Carhart jeans. Wanted a pair with a tad more room for working, so I ordered a 14. Fit was more like a 10, so I gave them to my daughter.

    These are a wonderful material for what I am looking for to wear in the mountains and I am hoping my recent weight increase is the reason for the gapping as it changed the way the pants ride on my hips. Until then the jury is still out on whether I would recommend them to a friend.

    These are typical of Carrhartt clothing: well made, quality fabric, definitely "work" style. The fabric is similar to canvas and is fairly heavy. Would probably be pretty hot in the summer but good for any other time. They are 34" long, so be prepared for that. I couldn't find any defects even though the descriptions says seconds.
