    The regular waist and long leg (7") make these a modest work short, well suited to the bending, kneeling, reaching, and stooping for gardening. The waist seems about 1/2 size smaller than other shorts. It's great to have these for summertime yardwork.

    These shorts fit me fine. I mainly use them for working in the garden and for tackling projects around the house. Lots of pockets and even a spot for pruners or pliers. The cell phone pocket on the side is great - doesn't make your butt look weird and doesn't get pinched when you squat down to get those weeds or pound those nails in.

    I work at a garden center where I work endlessly at crouching, watering, lifting, and generally trucking it during my ten+ hour shifts. These shorts Get It Done - they keep my legs happy and keep my tools, wallet, phone et al safe and snug, too. I love the little side pockets - perfect for notebooks and knives. There are also these wonderful bands of (tough! yet breathable!) fabric between the side beltloops that are perfect for housing screwdrivers and walkietalkie clips. These are great! (And they also fit my big old hips Perfectly.) I'm in love; my boyfriend is jealous.

    I loved all the little details built into these shorts. There are extra pockets here and there that you don't see in the pictures that were a pleasant surprise! I'm glad others said to order a size bigger cause I did and they fit. I hope they get a little softer after washing, but all in all they were a great deal!

    The waist was tight compared to the hips and legs which were very wide and baggy. Length was a little long. Probably fine functionally, but not flattering at all. I looked in the mirror and at 5'2", it was all shorts looking back at me - my upper torso and legs seemed to have shrunk and disappeared. Fabric is pretty stiff and heavy - they probably have great durability.
