    Waist was fine, the overall shorts were shortwaisted, so I will be returning them. I typically have a "regular" torso, but sometimes I buy longs (swimsuits, etc), so as long as you have a short or solidly average length torso, these should seem true to size.

    Bought for my teen daughter in size 2. Nice, but waist is a bit small/tight. This could be because she is a young teen (not fully shaped yet). If you have an hourglass shape with a distinct waist, you will like these as they fit nicely with no gap in back.

    And I did. I bought 1 pair to try out and loved them! So I bought more in the remaining colors. They are very comfortable and great looking. I am petite with a small waist an usually I have to have the waist taken in. The waist fits!!! And there is enough leg and hip room to work in the yard and hike. Nice sturdy summer weight fabric. Washes and drys nicely.
