    These shorts are meant for heavy duty Hard Work! Not soft, casual, going out shorts...They are stiff at first, but will soften after several washings. They are tripple stiched and have plenty of pockets. I ordered up a size to allow for extra 'squatting room' while gardening/farming and also for any potential shrinkage. By ordering up, they are a little big in the waist but a belt takes care of that. Order your regular size if you don't need wiggle room. Couldn't find any flaws..should last for several years.

    Very nice heavy duty material and construction. I wear pants in a "slim" fit and these were still snug in the tush area where normal pants will be a little baggy. Probably would not work for someone with a curvy figure. However I am working on dropping a few pounds, so I plan to keep them in hopes that the fit will work when summer gets here.

    I don't know how I lived without these shorts. I've worn them at least twice a week all summer, in very harsh/demanding conditions, I use ALL the pockets, and they still look (almost) brand new. Fit is perfect and the olive color is attractive and goes with almost anything. Although they're listed as seconds, I couldn't find any flaws. Highly recommend.

    As a home gardener, I thought these would make good yard wear, etc. They certainly are good for that, with all the pockets, but I also use them for hiking with my dog or just casual wear. I'd always heard that Carhartt was a good product,but I generally like lightweight clothing, so I never bought their prods. But I do like these very much. And they seem like they will last forever!
