This was a gift from my mom about a year ago (she got it from STP), and I would never have thought to buy it for myself, but I love it! The dark brown is beautiful. I wouldn't call it a "coat" as it is not very insulated, but it makes a great outer layer. The fit is roomy, like all Carhartt jackets, so I can fit lots of layers underneath without restricting movement, and it also looks nice as more of a rugged shirt in the spring and fall. It's my go-to for windy days, and really helps keep me warm. Very happy with it.

This was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend's mother. She loved it so much she put it on right away, even with the tags. This is a nice coat. If I had one myself I think I would be happy with it. The contrasting corduroy collar and cuffs looks great, and the lining gives the coat a very nice touch. It fits loose, with a lot of room in the waist area. The size we initially got was a 2XL in Deep Wine color, and it was way too big with really long sleeves. Something about the sleeves on the 2XL seemed a little irregular. The waist may have been big enough for a pregnant woman at full term. We got the recipient an XL jacket last year, and that one ended being too small, which is why I first ordered a 2XL in this Carhartt coat. We then got an XL in Blue Dusk, and that one was a keeper. I actually liked the Blue Dusk color better than Deep Wine, after comparing the two.

Great jacket to wear around the place for chores and for a quick errand or two. Something about the cuffs is odd, but still functional.
