It won't effect the usefulness of the product (they are jeans) so I don't see it as a big deal. This style has a great fit for me. I would definetely buy these again

Answer Yes - they will fit better than any other brand of jeans and feel really comfortable.

Answer They sit at the right height. I found that the hips sit right, but the waist feels too big for me. They aren't the same fit as years past. I'm slender, and haven't joined in the "enlargement" of America, so maybe Carhartt is making them bigger in the waist for softer bellies.
