    This is a very well-made belt, with a strap of blemish-free leather, well tanned and oiled. It is the perfect width and heft for supporting a knife sheath or other holster-type attachment during outddor activities. The stitching and fit and finish are perfect, with no uneven or loose seams. This belt would work equally well as a casual baelt to wear with jeans or khakis. The buckle, which is a rather unimpressive tin affair, can easily be removed so you can swap in your favorie custom buckle. The one complaint I have, and this is solely with Carhartt and not with STP, is that redneck-badge Carhartt logo they stick all over everything they sell. I don't like being a human billboard for anyone's product, and Carhartt's logos are always placed prominently and are impossible to remove (in this case, it is branded into the belp-loop keeper). Maybe I'll learn to love this belt enough that I won't mid being a walking advertisement for it, but I kind of suspect that's unlikely. All in all, a great belt that will serve you well. BTW, sizing was spot on. My waist is 34, so I ordered a 36, and it's got good room to grow or shrink with my dedication to Weight Watchers.
