The double thickness in the upper legs & knees is also a very nice factor. They fit great & are very comfortable even when kneeling &/or croutching.

Answer Great pant for summer heat. Canvas weight is much lighter than typical Carhartt cotton duck. Also loose fit leg cut allows air circulation and a much cooler feel than jeans.

Answer These would be EXCELLENT pants for summer use. They are just thin enough so that you don't get too hot in them, but with the double knee, tacked seams, and general workmanship, the durability factor is good. I would certainly reach for these first in the morning when getting ready for a hot day.
