Carhartt Double Front Jeans - Dungarees (For Women)

These pants are great for gardening. Double knees are a big asset for kneeling when necessary and pockets are handy for small tools. Very durable material.

I wear these for work around the house and in the yard. They are very comfortable and durable.

I am building my own home and need pants that can withstand demanding work. The material of the pants is nice and tough. Very durable. The tool pockets are handy, but these pants lack a hammer loop and I could really use one. I've worn men's Carhartt clothing in the past and they have all had hammer loops which I have found very handy. I appreciate the better fit of these Carhartt pants made for women. They fit better through the leg and the inseam length is just right for me, a slightly taller than average woman. I do find the waist to be a little tight, though.

I have another pair in a different color that fit perfect. I didn't specify when ordering the second pair to be sure they were 1st quality. So now the pants don't fit exactly like the others in the waste b/c they are irregulars. I am disappointed and was leaving for a trip so I didn't have time to return the pants.

I wear these while sculpting for protection or while teaching art in a messy studio.I especially like the double layer of fabric on the front of the pants. I still need to hem them. They would be perfect except the waist is a little high and stiff. It is also sometimes tight (only in the waist) Otherwise the pants fit nicely and have room to move. They look good with clay or sawdust on them. I hope they soften up a little . They look nice. I wish the waist was a little lower, perhaps looser. I do feel protected while wearing them and I don't look like a bum!

Carhart quality and durability for womanly bodies! YAY! Nice fit, nice looking. There are fabric blemishes (2nds), but since these are work pants it doesn't matter to me. The fabric is stiff and heavy, so not so good for travel, but excellent for intended purpose. They will soften up with use, and I'm sure they'll be favorites. I'm glad I bought them and will buy again in another color when available.

I'm an archaeologist, so I use Carhartt's for my fieldwork. I love wearing them around town as well though, and even into the office before they get too broken in. Takes a bit to break them in, but once you do, you've got a friend in these jeans. Tried the women's rather than the men's sizing equivalent, and it was a coin toss though as to which fit better.

I love the solid construction, heavy material, and double knees of these Carhartt pants. However, I have to agree with the other reviewers who commented that the waist sits too low. It's hard to keep one's shirt tucked in, especially when bending, digging, or working on one's knees. I really noticed this doing site work outside in Maine's cold winters! Guess I'll stick to the men's pants for now, until Carhartt comes up with a higher waisted model.(also wished these came in that lovely moss green that the men's come in!)

This product is great. I work with kids with disabilities and spend a lot of time on the floor and engaged in tasks that are pretty hard going. these pants are really hard wearing and I will definitely be purchasing a few more pairs for work.

I really like my carharts, I had to get a size bigger than I would normally wear because the waist sits high and is snug which takes getting used to but you feel covered and that is what they are for.
