    I am a water/wastewater/environmental technician and these are now my favorite work pants. The back pockets kinda make your butt look wider than it is, but other than that i have no complaints. As for fit, as long as you stick to the carhartt sizing chart, they should fit you like a glove. I originally ordered a size big because i read previous reviews saying they were too small, and i ended up sending them back. Hope you enjoy these pants as much as I do!

    I should've trusted my instincts on this one. Instead, i followed what some others were saying and ordered the next size up from what i measured myself to be. I should've just trusted the measurements and the carhartt sizing chart. Feels true to size and length. I am going to order the correct size and send these ones back.

    As usual Carhartts are made from solid materials. But if you want really well fitting (And I don't mean tight, just comfortable. pants don't buy Carhartts. I put a tape measure to the inseams of these pants and the 30" inseam is actually 32-1/4" The size 20 waist is atleast a 22. I washed on pair to fit-em-up and they are still so baggy a baggy pantsed punk, but not my boss, would be proud. My husband warned me about the the size problems that Carhartt has been having since they started making them out of country -- BAD! If you buy these pants or any pants from Carhartt, buy them atleast one size smaller than you think you need and hopefully the waist will not shrink too much for you to button them after you wash them. I will be exchanging the unwashed pair for a smaller size. Trina
