Carhartt Double Front Jeans - Dungarees (For Women)

Love having a sturdy pair of pants for working at the cabin here in AK.

I fit in too a 14 woo hoo but its a little snug so I opted in for the 18s' incase they shrink

I work in rough conditions and these pants make me feel bullet proof against thorny and generally unpleasant vegetation. They're extremely warm so they aren't so great in the heat but the thickness and durability of the canvas makes up for that discomfort.

I work from time to time with my brother, who is a contractor -- he mostly uses me on painting jobs -- but I finally decided I needed some dedicated "work" clothes so I wouldn't ruin my regular jeans, etc. A friend of mine has been a longtime Carthartt devotee, so I decided, when I saw these on sale in the STP deal flyer, I'd give them a try. They fit the bill perfectly for what I need: baggy enough to be comfortable when I'm working, LOTS of pockets so I can keep my phone, a lip gloss, and whatever else I need on my person -- and the workmanship is superb: I couldn't find any blems. Not high style -- but great heavy-duty, high-function jeans for the hard-working woman! I haven't washed these yet so I don't know if they will shrink, but I ordered a size larger than normal so it shouldn't be an issue in any case : )

The pair I got had some defect in the material but it is at the back of the knee so not very noticable. I don't think it will unravel so I kept them as I will be using for working in the garden. For the price seems OK. Carhart's run small in the waist compared to the rest of the pant so just know you've got to have a bit of that hourglass shape to fit in them.

The only color available was the dark brown.After several washings they are now a lighter shade which I really like better.The size 8 fits perfect in the waist, but a tad large in the hips.I think the fabric weight is good for summer and fall weather. You won't be a fashion statement in them but they feel and wear great. Try them!

These are my work pants. The heavy fabric protects from sticks and thorns. I used to wear the men's and assumed that women's would be horrible. I have a classic pear shape: small waist with bigger rear and thighs. (5'6", 135 lbs, size 8 or 10) Women's pants are often cut for the opposite. These are great - more comfoftable than the men's. The waist is low enough to be very comfortable without being "low rise" and the cut generally is very flattering. The tool loops and pockets are really useful. I can carry my pruners, mobile phone and digging knife all in handy reach.

the fabric is great and sturdy but the waist on these jeans was way too small, with the hips and thighs comparably way too loose. poor fit!

Quality but dont fit women well
