These socks are thick and warm so the boots fit better and my feet are warm and dry. The price is the best I have seen for a Carhartt sock, you will be satisfied with this purchase, get more than one at this price.

Make note that they are however very thick and will make your shoes/boots fit a little snug. It says in the description that these socks are seconds, but I cannot find anything wrong with them.

Answer If you mouse over the S, M, L sizes on the product page you will see corresponding shoe sizes. This product page is for a heavyweight sock, rather than the lightweight sock that is stated in the description. However, if I search for Carhartt lightweight socks, it seems that the Medium size is also corresponds to the 6 - 8 1/2 shoe sizes. So I would go with the medium sock.
