Absolutely love these. Great for outdoor activities in freezing and below temps. A bit boxy-like in picture- but what I expected. Well made and easy to do horse chores, snow shoveling, etc in. Rolled up bottoms like in picture for function and fun!!!

I didn't realize t hey were 2nds; I haven't found any flaws. I should have read the reviews first, tho, because I ordered one pair in size 12 & they were too large. I just donated them to the Humane Soc. here and I ordered another pair of jeans in size 10. That size fits perfectly. I tried to order another pair in that size, but they were sold out.

I couldn't be happier with my jeans. The fit is good, and with the drop in temperature, the timing couldn't have been more perfect. I was headed Thanksgiving in the Sierras, and they saved me on my 27 degree morning walks with the dog.

I bought the jeans 2 sizes too big so I could wear thermals under them when I went horseback riding in 25 degree weather. They worked for that purpose. However I have bought flannel jeans before and I found these were not as thick of flannel lined as my others. Wished they would have had heavier flannel inside. Then they would have been perfect.
The inseam is 32" long from the inside of the crotch of the pant to the bottom hem of the leg, and the 6 is the size of the waist of the pant. A size 6 for Carhartt is 27" in the waist.

I'm not sure of the question. I couldn't find the jeans to check how they were sized. If they were a straight 5,6,7,8,9, etc. then those are straightforward women's sizes. If they say waist 29 inseam 30, for example, then they're sized like men's pants are. The waist is 29" around and the inseam (the seam that starts at the crotch of the pant and goes down the inside of the leg to the bottom) is 30" The inseam would depend upon what kind of shoe you'd be wearing with them. If you have a heel then you'd want to get them a little longer. Find a pair of pants you like the length of and measure the inside seam as described above and there you'd have your inseam. Measure your waist or just below your waist for these to get your waist measurement. I wish they would size all women's pants this way, it makes it so much easier to get a better fit when they do.
