    After reading other reviews, i decided to go down a size and get a large in this jacket. I'm pretty thin, 6'4" 180lbs. I was swimming in the large. I think it's made for people who have super sized themselves or are just really thick. I've never bought anything that was so bizarrely sized. If you're trying to look gangster and have your coat really huge or you've got a successful career as a bodybuilder it might work. Otherwise I'd say stay away!

    i can't say enough good about this jacket. it roomy enough for me to wear a layer underneath, yet doesn't look bulky when i don't. it has the right amount of pockets; really like the hand warming pockets. i only wish it had a double zipper. that way i could unzip the lower half a little when i am driving with it on, because it rides up under my chin. yeah, i know, just unzip the top a little. but with some jackets, not this carhartt, they will ride up under your chin and arm pits and pinch. and unzipping the top doesn't really relive the riding up under the armpits.

    Great Quality, but just too big around the body. At 6-1, 200 pounds, the XL floated. This carhartt is made for wide guys. The Sierra, dearborne or detroit are better fits for the average/slimmer guys. If you are bulking up underneath for ice fishing, you might need extra room, but for normal wear, get one that fits.

    Nice durable jacket, well made. But the ample size makes this jacket more suited for fat guys. I would guess the chest size for the LT is about 48 and the waist size about 42.

    The coat looked great, the size is the problem. XLT is usually the best fit for the hubby....but the body was really big and the sleves were a tad too short. Big guy yes, but for a tall man not the coat for him! Would recomend for big guy not tall
