    The vest has a tough nylon shell that should stand up to years of use. It has a generous cut so it is easy to layer over heavier clothes with out being cut too big or bulking feeling. I would like zippers on the pockets to keep things from falling out during heavy activity. Can't go wrong with this vest for work or other outdoor adventures.

    This is a very nice offering from Carhartt and STP. It's July and too hot to wear the vest now, but the construction looks great and I can't find whatever defect makes it a 2nd. The nylon shell and high collar look like it'll be a good choice for fall and winter activities.
