Just what I wanted!Verified Buyer Reviewed by catpat25 from Virginia on Wednesday, August 12, 2015I'm always on the lookout for corduroy pants that are cotton with just a hint of synthetic fiber for stretch and these pants fill that bill. So many manufacturers are making totally synthetic corduroy, which is cold in the winter and is subject to static cling. Carhartt always makes dependable products. These pants fit a curvy figure. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is that the color is closer to a warm brown than a true wine, but they are a nice color nonetheless.

These are very nicely made corduroys. Generously cut size 8, and the length is perfect for my 5'2". I really love the color, and I particularly love the fit -- it is really hard to find pants that fit my stout little body without the back of the waistband gaping open. These are cut high enough to accommodate hips & tummy without feeling too much like mom jeans. Also, the pockets stay in the pockets. The stitching is very high quality, and the fabrics seems pretty sturdy (they're new, so we'll see). I am giving them 5 stars because they were even better than what I was expecting!
