Reviewed by elbarto from Arizona on Monday, July 05, 2010Lighter and cooler than denim jeans, but the canvas seems sturdy and should hold up well. I like the overall fit and feel of these pants. With the exception of the cell phone pocket, the pockets are large and useful. I found that when I tried using the cell phone pocket for my cell phone, it had a tendency to fall out when sitting. It might be useful for a jackknife or something else you can afford to lose. Overall I like the pants and am glad that I bought them.

I have the hardest time finding pants that are long enough for his legs, but don't have to be cinched up 3 sizes in the waste. I finally found them with Sierra Trading Post. What a relief! And he's happy with them too.

Reviewed by jenmenke from Minnesota on Wednesday, June 23, 2010I bought these for my husband to replace a pair that he bought while in Montana to wear camping which he then left at a campground without ever wearing! He has long legs and and a slim waist (31-34). He could actually wear a 30-34, but we err on a little bigger. The waist on these are just ever so slightly too big for him, so I washed in hot, hot water and dried on high heat. Now they are perfect. there was about 1/2" shrinkage in length. These are relaxed fit and a little more "modern" than the classic Carhart work pant fit. Still, if you are used to modern jeans (like Lucky Brand or similar) the waist does sit a little higher, which takes a bit of readjustment. Great pant. Great fabric.

Reviewed by jacko from newport beach on Saturday, June 19, 2010these pants look good enough to were to a meeting but are tough enough you can wear them in the field. i know they were marked as seconds. i ordered two pair, one i could see what was considered a flaw but on the other pair there was a little stitch that look like it was to fix a small hole by the phone pocket on the leg. not a deal breaker though. i just wish they came in more colors.
