    picked this up as a replacement for my older carhart jacket. next to no insulation (just a mesh like inner liner)makes this jacket far from ideal for construction work in montana winters. looks good enough for around the town and will suffice for the spring time, just not burly enough for the winter weather. If you want something for cold weather get something with the sherpa piling.

    This was a gift for my son and he LOVES it. Looks great on him, too. Very well made and has a combination post-modern-urban look along with the rugged Carhartt built-to-last work look. Roomy enough to accommodate a sweatshirt or sweater underneath, without looking baggy. Can't say enough good stuff about it.
