2nds, barely perceptible blemishes. Carhartt's Sandstone chore coat is a warm, durable blanket-lined coat you won't want to pass up. Loaded with features, it's made of tough, ring-spun 12 oz. cotton duck that has been garment-washed for added softness.

these are carhartt if you dont know what that means then keep buying your coats from some retailer for short money but if you want a quality product that will out last you and possibly your second generation then buy one of the fine products from carhartt . Here the price is right and as hard as i look i cant find the defect that makes my jacket a second

Buttons, not snaps

I returned this because it has button front, not snap front. Did not notice that when I ordered it. duh. It was a gift for someone, and he prefers snaps.

Great coat at a great price. Already washed it once and it looks fine; no shrinkage to speak of. Some reviewers have complained about the "recycled material" lining, but I think its great...the greener the better! As long as it holds up to Carhartt's well-known durability I will be more than happy with this purchase.

The coat is tough and warm, but I really wouldn't consider it for deep winter (Carharrt's Extreme is better for that). North of 20 degrees-taking light weight and adequate warmth into consideration-it is a great work coat.
