Carhartt Sandstone Jackson Coat - Sherpa Lined (For Men)

I'm 6'2", 155lbs, skinny. This fits well in a Medium, although the arms would be too short for anyone taller and there is a lot more room in the torso than I need. My wife likes the "manly man" look of it (and so do I). It seems durable enough to last pretty much forever. A lot more pockets than I need, but the price was right so I can't complain. The only problem is that the hood is too small to fully protect me from the rain -- but I have an XL-sized head (yes, on a medium body -- I'm like a human bobblehead) so maybe that's not typical.

I purchased this jacket for winter desert camping to combat wind and cold with good mobility and still take a beating. This style runs big, I am 5'09" 165 and I ordered a Medium. The medium is still a little big and has plenty of room for sweatshirt/sweater. The length is perfect. I took it to NM and the nights were around 30 degrees. Wearing only a shirt underneath for extend periods of time felt a little chilly, when I put on a sweat shirt I was fine and I still had plenty of mobility. This jacket held up well in the wind and the hood kept my head warm, no need for my wool beanie. Nice jacket, what I was looking for. Not quite as warm as some of the reviews would lead you to believe but fine with a sweater. If you want to blend in an urban area get a different style, if you like the woodsman look get this jacket.

The coat fits good, has good zippers and pockets, is warm and looks really great.

Gave this coat to my fiance for Christmas and he loves it. I can't get him to take it off, he wears it everywhere.

Maybe Carhartt's best designed coat to date. Great functionality and fit. Don't think you can go wrong with this coat style.

This is my first Carhartt product, and I am now completely sold on Carhartt. I originally thought that Carhartt was only meant for folks in field, construction, and other out-in-the-elements lines of work. But the Sandstone Jackson Coat is an awesome jacket/coat for anyone looking for a cold weather, great looking, top notch quality coat(I still think it's more of a jacket). This is supposed to be a factory second with very minor cosmetic blemishes. Honestly, I have examined every square inch of this coat and cannot find any blemish at all. The only thing on this coat that tells me that this is a second is what's printed on the label...that's it. I highly recommend this coat.

durable, heavy duty jacket. i am a long time user of carhartt products because of their durability and functionality. this coat is the same as previous carhartt products. good coat.

I USE THIS FOR HUNTING,WORK AND FOR CASUAL GET TOGETHERS..STYLISH, WARM, GREAT FIT.I HAVE NOT FOUND NOTHING NOT SO GREAT ABOUT IT.
