“Honest work vest”

“The vest is simple, but effective. I bought a large tall, and I wear it under an XL tall Carhartt hoodie coat. It's very durable, and provides pockets. While it adds some warmth, it's really just another layer. In other words, don't expect the warmth that you'd get from a North Face fleece vest. I'm a volunteer firefighter in the Colorado foothills (8,300') where I live, so I spend many hours outside in the winter, plowing snow, etc. It's a work vest, so if I get a grease stain on it, I don't feel bad, unlike technical (synthetic) gear.”
