Carhartt Sandstone Rugged Vest - Sherpa Lined (For Tall Men)

The vest is simple, but effective. I bought a large tall, and I wear it under an XL tall Carhartt hoodie coat. It's very durable, and provides pockets. While it adds some warmth, it's really just another layer. In other words, don't expect the warmth that you'd get from a North Face fleece vest. I'm a volunteer firefighter in the Colorado foothills (8,300') where I live, so I spend many hours outside in the winter, plowing snow, etc. It's a work vest, so if I get a grease stain on it, I don't feel bad, unlike technical (synthetic) gear.

This is a great garment for doing outdoor chores on a winter day.

Bought this for my husband who does alot of outdoor work. He finds it very comfortable, not binding and holds up to some tough conditions. Will be buying one for me in the smaller size.

This has become my go to vest. Fits well and very comfortable for all day wear. Has become part of my standard everyday work wear. And don't forget, it's Carhartt!

Good deal

Bought these vests for my Son-in-law and Grandson who are in the construction/landscape business. They are really rough on clothes. They surely wont wear these out in a hurry.
