    I purchased this jacket for my husband, as he is always tromping around out in the snow and ice in what I would consider less-than-adequate outerwear. I am incredibly pleased with how well this jacket is performing for him. It feels quite light, but once on, it's very warm. The tough outer fabric is very durable, but not as rigid as the older style of Carhartt duck, making it perfect for applications where ease of movement is necessary. The sleeves are also insulated, so they provide extra warmth to the most vulnerable part of the upper body. I bought the extra-large, so he could layer without problems (he normally wears a large), and despite the small amount of "extra", it does not seem to cause problems with bulk or misfitting. It said this jacket is a "second", but we've yet to find any flaws with it, cosmetic or otherwise! Overall, I'd say this was probably the best purchase I've made for my husband in a long time!

    I wear this jacket for everyday use. I just moved to Iowa and wanted something warm for everyday or to wear if I got a job working outside. This is a really nice jacket that looks great for any type of use. It's warm and durable. I know I'll get many years of wear from this jacket. Wouldn't know it's a second. I see no flaws whatsoever.
