Carhartt Sandstone Vest - Sherpa-Lined (For Women)

I am 5'7, 125lbs. I usually wear small or med tops but I had to retrurn to get a xs. It fits through the top and the torso length is Great! but the flare incorporated into the womens design stuck out really far. I have hips. I took the vest apart and cut about an inch and a half off of each side and sewed it all back together to make it fit. Love it now.

Love this! I purchased it to replace a down vest that had been in my closet for literally 30 years. The color (blue) is really pretty, the vest is really warm, the pockets perfectly placed. The one thing about it is, it's kind of stiff. I washed it before wearing it to make it softer, but it is still firm. Maybe after a couple more washings it will loosen up. Very nice, though. I am thinking of which color to choose, as I will buy another one.

I layer with this vest, keeps me warm but not too hot.....love the color and how it fits. The price was outstanding and the quality is awesome!!

Runs alittle tight thru the body.Collors alittle stiff and pokes you in the neck when not zipped fully.. I will wash it several times to soften things up over the summer..Outstanding value

i have several of these vests. they are very nice and warm and i love wearing them for trail riding and everyday use. i liked mine so much i bought one for my friend for her birthday. she loved it.

I love this vest so much! I wear it all the time. The bright purple is a beautiful color. Very warm and comfortable. The vest fits really well over a sweatshirt.

I bought this for trailrides. It matches the Carhartt coats that we all have our group logo on. I was so disappointed when I got it. The side seams at the bottom flare out giving the appearance of very large hips. Very odd looking for sure. I debated about sending it back but could find no other options for that color. I took it to a seamstress who is now putting in some darts under the pockets to fix the problem. So iin addition to the cost of the vest I am having to pay her $35 to fix the problem. Very poor design on someone's part.

Vest is good quality--nice color and study fabric. However, the cut is not what I was hoping for. I ordered a size small because I usually wear a 4-6, and found that, while the top of the vest fits well (although it is roomy) the bottom of the vest flares out significantly, which looks extremely strange on my slim frame. Since I only paid [$] for the vest, I don't want to spend $9 on exchanging the item, and will try to come up with a clever cinching modification, but I would not recommend this item for folks who are slender through the hips and butt and care about how they look.

My first Carhartt vest and I'm thrilled. The berber lining is so cozy. I purchased the teal which is true to color; looks a little faded. Do check your vest closely to see why it's a "second." The first one I received had a fatal flaw in the front that would have become a hole within a month.
