    I bought this to wear when I wanted something lighter than my Carhartt Sandstone jacket. It is an excellent product, very clean looking and I do like the materials and durability-what I've come to expect with the Carhartt line, and have not been disappointed. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the bulky wrist band velcro...it may soften up and be less intrusive as I wear it as it is brand new at the moment. I am a horseowner.

    I was very excited to get this coat. I love Carhartt products because they are so durable. This coat is warm to about 40 degrees, then I have to layer a bit more. Shell is durable and definitely windproof and water resistant. Would be five stars but it is too big. This is not unusual for me with Carhartt-I am very petite (5'3'', 110 lbs), but this coat is pretty large on me, even with an xs. It was a great price though, so I will be keeping it.

    This coat is great. It is lightweight but warm. I wore it while shoveling snow and never got cold out in the weather. It stops the wind too. It looks good on. I cannot recommend it more!

    I loved the jacket but I ordered a large - I have another Carhartt jacket in large that I am able to wear a heavy sweatshirt under it for layering. That's what I wanted here, but this one is definitely sized MUCH smaller. I can zip this one up but would never be able to actually wear it. I love it so I'm going to return it for the next size. I had tried an X Large in another style at a store and I couldn't even zip it up. Carhartt needs to come up with more consistent sizing!

    I bought this a casual jacket for winter. I purchased what I thought would be a little larger size just in case I needed to layer. I have found that to be toasty warm when the temperature is in the teens, that is indeed necessary. The jacket allows for this quite easily and still maintains some degree of style. I like the pockets especially the zippered breast pockets both inside and out.
