    I've had my eye on these vests for quite awhile, so when they were available on sale on Black Friday, I finally snagged one. They are cut a little longer than most vests, so they hit a bit below the hip bone. The softshell material seems like it will be durable, and the burgandy is an attractive color. Though this is work wear, the cut is flattering, not boxy. I'm a size 12 and ordered a large and it's just right so I can wear a couple layers under the vest if I want, but I'm not swimming in it. I like to wear it over a hooded sweatshirt to cut the wind and retain core heat when it's not quite cold enough for a full-on jacket.

    I loved the idea of a more feminine cut for practical use as I work both in and outdoors. I am not curvy - 5'6" and narrow (120lb). The small was big - there is a flare at the bottom of this vest and it flared huge on me. Armholes were too big. Exchanged for an XS, and while it fits nicely where it narrows at the waist, the armholes are still a bit gaping, and while I like the long length, with the material as stiff as it is (read high quality and warm mind you), it kind of bunches up when you sit down. I think this is the PERFECT vest for women with a feminine shape, and a little height, it just isn't perfect for me. I am keeping it for outdoor activities.

    I tried the medium first and it was too large for me so I got a small. I still have plenty of room for a heavy sweater under it. I like the shaping of the vest and the longer length. It does seem to bulge out a little at the front of the arm holes but isn't too noticeable.
