Love 'em!

I have a hands-on job and need work clothes that can withstand climbing over piping and crawling on steel and concrete floors. These are great.
I own two pairs of Carhartt Traditional fit in an 8x32 that fit well at first, but the waists stretched out as they wore in and my heavy radio pulled on them. Apparently they have a "muffin top accommodating" cut. These end on my hip bones, so I don't have lots of stretched-out fabric making my waist look bigger than it is. The 27x32 of this cut are slightly snug, which I like.
I've got a small-ish waist, short torso, average hips and thighs, and a flat butt (nothing can make my butt look good, but these don't make it worse. I'll take it!). Low-rise pants work the best with my figure, and these deliver. The back of the waist is a little higher than the front so when I'm bent over and my shirt rides up I'm not flashing anyone. It's nice to not have a bunch of extra material around my crotch in the front like normal-waisted jeans tend to give me (which may be due to me not filling the backs of the jeans out as intended...).
The pant legs fit just fine over my 10" work boots.
The only reason I can guess why these are 2nds is that there's a small pale stripe down the centers of the legs in the front from the shins down, where it looks like the dyeing got a little messed up.
